Love is the medicine.
I live in the mostly-sunny wilds of Southern Oregon with my husband, children, father, and three mismatched mutts. The dry hot summers and four distinct annual seasons of this region are a far cry from the weird rainy streets of Portland where I grew up, but I wouldn’t trade my quirky mountain valley home for anyplace else on earth.
As a late bloomer and a yogini, I have always been drawn to stories that showcase love’s incredible power to inspire growth and transformation. When not writing, I help run a small independent bookstore called Rebel Heart Books, drink tea, teach yoga, spend time with my family, reminisce about the days when I had time to watch shows, and desperately try to balance reading for the store’s many book clubs with my insatiable addiction to genre fiction!
